About The Position

Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. is seeking a full-time Courier Driver for the city of Regina and/or the rural areas of southern Saskatchewan. The driver will operate fleet vehicles, including cube vans and 3/5 tons, for parcel and courier delivery services. Responsibilities include picking up and dropping off client cargo/packages, loading and unloading freight, maintaining trip sheets and all freight documents, and updating hand-held devices. Adherence to health and safety regulations, including Department of Highways and DOT regulations, is crucial. The role requires ensuring the safety, security, and prompt delivery of cargo.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of the roadways in and around Regina.
  • Ability to operate a tailgate.
  • Ability to operate a temperature-controlled unit.
  • Willingness to complete 40+ deliveries in a day.
  • Experience driving various sizes of trucks/vans.
  • Good knowledge of the towns and roadways in Southern SK.
  • Compliance with company drug & alcohol program.
  • Minimum of 2 years behind the wheel commercial driving experience.
  • Current criminal background check, and be bondable if requested.
  • Steel Toed Shoes, company identification card, and company branded clothing.
  • Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in English.
  • Good knowledge of log/trip sheets, inspection reports, freight documents.
  • Experience using GPS, cell phone, and other company hand held tracking devices.
  • Professional and experienced in providing good customer service to Clients.
  • A current clean NSC commercial driver’s abstract (minimum of at least one year).
  • A valid class 5 license.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
  • Demonstrate the safe use of hand dollies and/or pallet jacks.
  • Willingness to move 500 to 1600 lbs. of product with a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

  • Service client cargo/package pick-ups and drop offs.
  • Load and unload freight.
  • Maintain trip sheets and all freight documents, manifests, BOL’s.
  • Update hand held devices.
  • Adhere to all health and occupational safety, department of highways, and DOT regulations.
  • Ensure the safety, security, and prompt delivery of cargo.
  • Assist in the warehouse as needed.
