About The Position

Join GoBus as a Courier & Fleet Support team member, where you'll play a critical behind the scenes role in transporting medical specimens, supplies, and equipment between facilities; ensuring every delivery is handled safely, accurately, and on time. You'll also serve as a trusted point of contact for our partners, providing clear, professional communication and topnotch customer service with each route. In addition to courier responsibilities, you'll help keep our fleet running smoothly by supporting vehicle readiness and safety by staging vehicles, performing light cleaning and basic inspections, and assisting with non-mechanical fleet tasks. This dynamic role also offers the occasional opportunity to step in as a backup GoBus Operator when needed, providing safe and reliable transportation for passengers. East Texas Council of Governments is a voluntary association of counties, cities, school districts and special districts within the fourteen-county East Texas region. We assist local governments in planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit and coordinating for sound regional development. Either directly, or through our contractors, ETCOG provides programs and services for East Texas seniors, employers and job seekers. We also build the 9-1-1 emergency call delivery system, provide peace officer training and homeland security planning services; and deliver rural transportation services, business finance programs, grant writing services and environmental grant funding for the region.
