About The Position

Currently, we are looking for individuals who want to be trained and work as Meat Cutters – Trimmers. We are seeking fast and skilled individuals with good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail. On-site training is provided for learning how to use a specialized electric knife.

Requirements

  • Able to work standing for long periods
  • Good hand dexterity
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (between 4 to 6°C)
  • Ability to speak one of the two official languages fluently (French or English)
  • Candidates must be already residents of Quebec with a valid work permit

Responsibilities

  • Trim thigh pieces according to established specifications
  • Maintain good yield of the final product
  • Use a specialized mechanical knife
  • Maintain a steady work pace to meet production targets
  • Follow quality, hygiene, and food safety standards
  • The job consists of removing fat, skin, and bones from chicken
