You will help ensure that agency procedures run smoothly and that children have what they need during appointments and transitions.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school; or Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Must meet the PA residency requirement.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- Must submit and have approved satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor children during appointments, visitation, court events, and approved activities
- Assist with admission, placement, and discharge procedures for children in agency custody
- Accompany caseworkers on home visits and report observations about child and family functioning
- Obtain and maintain medical, dental, vision, immunization, and related records
- Transport foster children to visits, school, appointments, and approved activities
- Support communication between the agency and resource families during placement transitions
