About The Position

The County Market Scanning Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring accurate pricing and 100% scanability, developing product knowledge, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role involves implementing price changes, managing price discrepancies, creating pricing records for new products, and handling pricing issues for the entire store. The coordinator also manages in-store deal tracking and requests tags/deletions according to proper procedures. Additionally, the position requires maintaining shelf tags and working within company programs, policies, and procedures, including safety protocols, acting as a safety role model.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
  • Perform implementation of price changes for warehouse and DSD items
  • Ensure that prices are correct and go into effect in a timely manner
  • Maintain batches/batch paperwork
  • Communicate and resolve price discrepancies
  • Makes and enters changes in computer systems
  • Maintain E Verification report
  • Sign making for all departments
  • Maintain in-store deal tracking system
  • Weekly price changes
  • Handle pricing issues for total store
  • Maintain shelf tags
  • Request tags/deletions using proper procedure
  • Create pricing records for new products
  • Work within company programs, policies and procedures
  • Follows all store and department policies and procedures
  • Follows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
  • Directly supervises associates in Scanning Department.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appr aising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
