About The Position

The intern will work alongside County Farm Bureau managers to help plan programs and events and learn what the role is all about. This internship offers the opportunity to 'test drive' a potential career path through real corporate projects, collaboration in meetings, and several networking opportunities. Interns will work alongside and learn from expert leaders at all levels of the company, team up with fellow interns to showcase their ideas, impact the business, and experience professional and personal growth.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in agriculture or a related field.
• Must be able to work full-time hours from late May 2027 to early August 2027.
• Graduation date of August 2027 or beyond.
• Interest in becoming a County Farm Bureau manager after graduation
• Good Communicator
• Self-starter
• Organized

Nice To Haves

• The internship may be extended part-time through fall 2027 and spring 2028.

Responsibilities

• Help to plan events and programs for members
• Prepare information for board meetings
• Attend monthly board meetings
• Be in charge of completing a membership engagement project
• Work some nights and weekends
