The County Extension Agent – 4‑H leads hands‑on, research‑based youth programs, partnering with county schools, volunteers, and specialists while recruiting and training volunteer leaders to support 4‑H clubs and educational activities for youth. This role involves maintaining knowledge of county characteristics, collaborating with advisory committees, promoting the 4-H program, recruiting and training adult leaders, engaging youth in project work and life skill development, employing evaluation techniques, leveraging Extension specialists, ensuring civil rights compliance, and supporting county agriculture or family and consumer science programs. The position also requires adherence to University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture policies and procedures.
