This role focuses on helping young children who are experiencing developmental delays and supporting their families through important early steps. As a County Caseworker 2 in the Early Intervention Unit, you will perform the following duties: Early Screening: Conduct screenings to identify developmental delays in infants and toddlers Family Coordination: Work with families to track progress and plan needed services Service Support: Assist families in locating and obtaining early intervention resources Collaborative Planning: Coordinate with guardians and professionals to support each child Progress Tracking: Monitor developmental outcomes and adjust plans as needed Support Linking: Connect individuals to helpful services, resources, and benefits.

Requirements

Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1; or Successful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program; or A bachelor's degree with a social welfare major; or A bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of professional social casework experience in a public or private social service agency; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
Possess a valid driver’s license which is not under suspension.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
