About The Position

Grupo Data is a multinational IT consultancy with operations in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, the US, and Canada. They have four main practices: Asset Management, Artificial Intelligence, Talent, and Cybersecurity. The company is an official member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network and developed Data Omnis, a SaaS data catalog and AI context layer. They are establishing their US operations in San Francisco and are seeking a leader to build this new venture. The Country Manager will be the first senior hire in the US and will function as a founder within an established company that has existing scale, references, and delivery capabilities internationally. This role reports directly to the Co-CEOs.

Requirements

  • Ten or more years of experience in B2B technology services or SaaS.
  • At least five years of experience leading a business unit, region, or country with revenue responsibility.
  • Proven track record of selling consulting or AI and data solutions to mid-market and enterprise accounts in the US.
  • Comfortable with hands-on activities such as prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals, especially in the early stages of team development.
  • Experience building teams from scratch.
  • Experience working with a global headquarters across different time zones.
  • Authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the US go-to-market plan, selecting the initial practices and offers to focus on (AI consulting and Claude enablement, Data Omnis, talent allocation, cybersecurity, ITSM).
  • Personally open and close the first US accounts, then build the sales and delivery team to support them.
  • Develop the Anthropic partnership within the US and cultivate relationships within the local AI and cloud ecosystem.
  • Establish operating routines for the local entity in coordination with the global back office, covering hiring, contracts, compliance, pricing, and reporting.
  • Own the US P&L, meeting quarterly targets for pipeline, revenue, and margin.
  • Represent Grupo Data at industry events, with clients, and with partners.
