About The Position

The Country Head – USA is responsible for building, scaling, and leading Jyoti CNC’s USA business with full P&L ownership and end-to-end accountability across sales, applications, service, operations, and governance. This role is a builder-leader mandate: establish the organization, operating cadence, and discipline required to deliver profitable growth, installed-base monetization, and customer trust through world-class execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering/Business (MBA preferred)
  • 15–25+ years in CNC machine tools / capital equipment / industrial technology
  • Proven success leading cross-functional functions (sales, applications, service, operations, finance)
  • Demonstrated experience building/scaling a region or country organization
  • Strong executive communication, operating cadence discipline, and customer-facing leadership

Responsibilities

  • Own full USA P&L: revenue, margin, opex, working capital, cash flow
  • Build and execute annual/quarterly operating plan (growth, cost, capacity, coverage)
  • Enforce pricing/discount governance and profitable mix
  • Drive aftermarket/service growth (spares, service contracts, retrofits, uptime programs)
  • Establish performance tracking: plan vs actual, corrective actions, lessons learned
  • Build and lead the leadership team (Zone Heads + Tech Center + Service + Ops + Finance)
  • Create a high-performance culture: clarity of roles, accountability, cadence, standards
  • Own leadership development: coaching, performance planning, evaluation, succession planning
  • Ensure organizational design supports scale (territory coverage, service footprint, parts readiness)
  • Partner with global HR/legal to ensure compliance with employment requirements and company values
  • Define GTM strategy (direct + strategic partners where needed) aligned to global goals
  • Drive territory expansion, vertical strategy, and key-account penetration
  • Run a disciplined commercial rhythm: pipeline health, conversion, forecast accuracy, deal governance
  • Own strategic negotiations and executive customer relationships
  • Strengthen proposal/application capability: right solution, right risk, right margin
  • Ensure seamless coordination across Tech Centers, central warehouse, and field service
  • Establish service operating standards: response time, first-time-fix, uptime, escalation protocol
  • Build parts strategy: critical spares, stocking policy, inventory turns, repair TAT, obsolescence control
  • Reduce repeat failures through structured root-cause, corrective actions, and reliability feedback loop
  • Track execution performance and implement lessons learned (install quality, handover, repeat issues)
  • Set the governance rhythm: weekly ops review, monthly business review, quarterly strategy review
  • Report performance transparently to global leadership with clear actions/owners/dates
  • Ensure adherence to Jyoti processes, ethics, and brand standards
  • Represent Jyoti CNC externally: customers, industry events, strategic partners
  • Drive employee engagement and customer satisfaction as explicit leadership outcomes
