About The Position

The Country Finance Manager, Americas is responsible for the overall financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and finance operations of the Company's legal entities across the United States, Canada, Chile, and Brazil. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements, and timely fulfillment of all Nord-Lock Group reporting obligations. The Country Finance Manager, Americas leads and develops the regional finance team, including direct supervision of finance personnel located in multiple countries, while partnering with operational and business leaders to support sound financial decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple legal entities and international operations required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
  • Understanding of multi-entity and international accounting environments.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across departments and geographic locations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall responsibility for the accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and finance operations of all legal entities within the United States, Canada, Chile, and Brazil.
  • Lead and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across the Americas region.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Nord-Lock Group requirements and local statutory regulations.
  • Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and closing activities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial position and performance of all assigned legal entities.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Ensure all Nord-Lock Group reporting requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls and financial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements across all assigned countries.
  • Identify control weaknesses and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate annual external audits and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with external tax advisors and partners to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance personnel across multiple countries and locations.
  • Directly manage finance team members and support their professional growth and development.
  • Coordinate onboarding, training, and succession planning activities within the finance organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear objectives and performance expectations for team members.
  • Serve as a key financial business partner to operational and regional leadership teams.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive standardization and process improvements across finance activities within the Americas region.
  • Support the implementation of finance systems, tools, and best practices.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
