About The Position

Leidos is hiring Desk Officers at multiple levels to support its Beacon Intelligence Program in Northern Virginia. Officers support operational elements and the customer’s mission through research, analysis, report writing, and briefings. Work takes place at client sites in Northern Virginia. All positions require a current, active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph; candidates without this clearance will be disqualified. Level and compensation are determined after an in-person meeting.

Requirements

Possess a current, active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Typically have a bachelor’s degree and 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and 6–10 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
Demonstrated ability to research and analyze.
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
Ability to work on several tasks concurrently.
Strong analytic writing and editing skills.
Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience collaborating and coordinating with multiple offices and agencies.
Experience supporting senior decision-makers.
Experience related to intelligence research and analysis.

Responsibilities

Manage a full range of operational and support activities.
Serve as the primary point of contact for overseas offices.
Provide operational guidance for ongoing cases.
Propose recommendations for possible operational scenarios.
Coordinate legal and policy issues affecting cases and overseas offices.
Research existing cases and develop intelligence assessments using a variety of sources.
Brief senior decision-makers.
