About The Position

This position requires a Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst to provide mid-level analytic expertise to the DCSA CI Analysis Division (AD). The role involves identifying, assessing, and disrupting threats to cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA. The analyst will facilitate USG responses to adversary actions by sharing threat indicators and enabling responsive measures from other agencies and services. They will also contribute to the development and operationalization of enterprise security risk management methodology across Government and industry stakeholders. The analyst will produce IC-coordinated all-source intelligence analytic products on foreign intelligence entities' capabilities, intentions, willingness, and opportunities to threaten U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, resources, activities, and interests worldwide. Analysis will cover regional and functional CI topics, including foreign intelligence threats to Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP), DoD supply chains, emerging technologies, and threats from foreign intelligence technical equipment to the DoD. The role provides analytic support to senior officials, collectors, and operators throughout the DoD, IC, and law enforcement agencies/organizations, as well as for DCSA’s CI programs, functions, and mission activities. The analyst will conduct analytical research to establish or refute Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE) threats to U.S. technologies, information, and supply chains impacting cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA. Responsibilities include processing, updating, and tracking cases, actions, products, and reviews in the identified system of record and other databases. The analyst will conduct CI analysis to identify and assess FIE threats, and research, synthesize, exploit, evaluate, and analyze all-source reporting on FIE targeting USG critical technologies, programs, information, and supply chains. This includes conducting all-source, business, security, and intelligence-related research and analysis using commercial subscription tools (e.g., Bloomberg), open-source research, Government databases, and intelligence reporting aimed at U.S. and foreign companies and affiliated parties, while producing Threat Information Reports (TIRs). The analyst will develop analytical products that effectively articulate FIE threats, demonstrate analytic integrity, rigor, and tradecraft standards by adhering to applicable IC Directives and DoD Instructions, and produce analytic products within established timeframes. Intelligence information will be disseminated to customers and stakeholders. Some locations may require local travel within the U.S. The role requires working both with teams and independently.

Requirements

Active TS-SCI Clearance required
At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Applying data analysis, trend analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommend solutions.
Ability and skill in communicating intelligence information verbally and in writing.
Data systems such as: NISS, DISS, NCCS, AMPS WebFLIS, and ACCESS or other security and supply-related data systems.
Conducting strategic communications with key stakeholders, including preparing written reports, leading conferences, and giving briefings.
Conducting research effectively and efficiently at classified and unclassified levels (i.e. SharePoint, Microsoft Office Tools, etc.)
Be knowledgeable of data manipulation within databases and Microsoft software packages.
Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as a good command of the English language.
High proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook

Develop analytical products that effectively articulate FIE threat.
Demonstrate analytic integrity, rigor, and tradecraft standards by adhering to applicable IC Directives and DoD Instructions.
Produce analytic products within established time.
Disseminate intelligence information to customers and stakeholders.
May be required to lift general office items (20-30lbs).
Expected in office work five days a week with occasional telework that is dependent on the government’s needs.
U.S. driver’s license and be capable of operating government vehicles.
