Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in HVAC Installation or sales experience is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC experience would be a major asset to this role.
  • Experience operating inventory management systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line customer service at the Pick-up Counter and Order/Inquiry Desk.
  • Process customer orders, inquiries, and transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Escalate customer service concerns or process gaps to the appropriate team or leadership.
  • Support customers with product availability, order status, and general inquiries.
  • Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth order flow, resolve issues, and deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Maintains professional and consistent communication with internal and external customers.
  • Receives returned goods from customers performing the initial validation steps, performing basic return eligibility in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all required return documentation is completed, signed, dated, and attached to the product.
  • Support adherence to the returned goods process by ensuring accuracy and completeness of all front-end steps.
  • Maintains ownership of the clearance section, ensuring that all products are properly priced, labeled, and organized.
  • Rotates clearance inventory as directed by the Branch Manager to support sell-through.
  • Processes clearance sales and ensure accurate system entry and tracking.
  • Monitors the clearance stock and identify opportunities to reduce aged or slow-moving inventory.
  • Maintains clean, organized, and customer-ready work areas at all times.
  • Supports adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts related to customer service and branch operations.
  • May provide coverage on the Sales Counter when trained.
  • Additional duties as requested by management.
