About The Position

Our Food and Beverage Department boasts a remarkable group of team members dedicated to delivering exceptional guest service. Their duties include warmly welcoming guests, efficiently processing orders, and handling payments at The Opals Confectionary Outlet. This role involves demonstrating exceptional guest service skills when selling Beverage and pastry items to either guests or employees. The Counter Server/Cashier will continually operate a cash register or cash bank and accept payment for F&B product(s) ensuring accuracy when making change. They will be responsive to guest’s questions regarding food items, prices, and methods of preparation, and will continually up-sell F&B products offered. A key responsibility is to ensure that the assigned area is kept orderly and continually clean and sanitize counters in designated areas, as well as assisting in the dining area as needed.

Requirements

The ability to count money and make correct change.
Have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrate the ability to complete multiple tasks at once.
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
