About The Position

Streets of New York is a casual pizza restaurant serving Arizona for almost 50 years! We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Counter Servers. As a Counter Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. If you have a passion for food and customer service, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must have a current Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card or willingness to acquire one before starting.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be authorized to work in the United States, will be submitted through E-Verify

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner.
Answer incoming calls and take orders or answer questions while providing excellent customer service.
Be knowledgeable on all menu items and be able to help guests with placing orders based on their tastes, preferences, diets or allergies.
Be knowledgeable on all current promotions, specials and offers, and be able to apply them in accordance with our policies.
Accept and process payments.
Assist team members as needed in the dining room.
Provide guests with a positive experience that promotes repeat business and continued patronage.
Retrieve guests and delivery service pick up orders, paying close attention to detail so orders are accurate.
Light lifting to stock products or cleaning and maintenance of the dining room.
