About The Position

Advance Plumbing stocks over 13,000 items from pipes, valves and fittings to faucets, sinks, shower products, water heaters and much more in order to serve the customer in a timely manner. The ability to provide the products customers' need, when they need them has remained a staple throughout the Advance Plumbing history. Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
• Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, in a customer focused role, while having a high attention to detail and speed
• Possess the drive to identify customer needs, provide profitable solutions while educating on comprehensive product knowledge
• Basic computer experience such as Microsoft Office, Point-of-Sale and another internal database software
• Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers who purchase and/or pick up merchandise
• Collect payment method using point-of-sale system
• Maintain quality of products and service while supporting customers with their inquiries
• Support team members in servicing customers, answering phone calls, stocking merchandise, and pulling orders for delivery
• Provide alternative suggestions or complementary products beyond the original order
• Maintains a neat counter area and updates product displays when applicable
• Apply existing and company provided product knowledge while showcasing competitive advantage of company service
