Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Computer skills or some knowledge of computer order entry system.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to communicate with customers and employees in a friendly and professional manner both on the telephone and in person
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines.
Effective organization and prioritization skills.
Ability to routinely lift 25 – 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform work during prolonged standing.(up to 8 hours per day.)
Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.

Nice To Haves

Prior knowledge of plumbing products and supplies helpful.

Responsibilities

Communicate by phone and in person with wholesale customers to assist them in their plumbing purchases.
Establish and maintain good customer relations.
Maintain neat, clean and professional appearance.
Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed; including coding, costing and pricing.
Ensure all administrative, accounting and credit related procedures are strictly observed.
Communicate with branch manager and purchasing any product shortages or outages.
Safely unload and check-in delivered product and stock shelves.
Help load company trucks with product as necessary.
Pull customer will call orders from Warehouse shelves as necessary.
Help to maintain a neat and clean warehouse by performing general housekeeping duties as required.
Exercise safety at all times.
Work with all department staff to ensure all deadlines are met and workloads are equitable.
Perform duties of backup driver when necessary (if qualified).
Various other projects as assigned by management
