About The Position

As a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate, you will assist with customer orders, information requests, and inventory status. You will review orders for accuracy and communicate any deviations to customers in a timely and professional manner. You will also assemble products for receiving, storing, shipping, and controlling materials in inventory or for sale.

This role supports customer service and product sales while helping maintain merchandise and literature displays, developing product and market knowledge, and backing up inside sales representatives and warehouse personnel as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including frequently standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, stooping, and using hands and fingers; lifting and carrying loads up to 100 lbs. is also described.
• Vision capabilities for driving equipment and company vehicles include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Nice To Haves

• Previous wholesale electrical distribution product knowledge and sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and resolve customer requests or problems promptly and professionally.
• Sell products and services, offer relevant add-on and up-sell products, and suggest alternatives when requested products are unavailable.
• Review orders for accuracy and communicate deviations to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Assemble products and handle materials for receiving, storing, shipping, and inventory or sale.
• Maintain merchandise and literature displays.
• Develop knowledge of Crescent product inventory, facility locations, and sales techniques; stay current on market trends, new products, and product applications.
• Back up and support inside sales representatives and warehouse personnel as necessary.
