About The Position

We're looking for a motivated Counter Sales Representative to join a well-established and growing business in Frederick County, MD. This role involves assisting contractors and technicians at the sales counter, providing product information, processing sales orders, and building strong customer relationships.

Requirements

• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, wholesale distribution, or related industry preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
• Basic computer skills and experience with sales/order entry systems
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors, technicians, at the sales counter
• Provide product information, recommendations, and solutions
• Process sales orders, quotations, and returns accurately
• Answer phone inquiries and support walk-in customers
• Maintain merchandise displays and stock levels
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Build strong relationships with customers through exceptional service
