Connor Co., a company rich in history, currently has an available Counter Sales position in Moline, IL. We seek a career-minded person looking for a long-term position with a great company. Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug testing and be available to work from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Pass a pre-employment background check and drug testing.
Be available to work from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Basic computer knowledge/keyboarding skills with the ability to learn new systems.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience in plumbing or HVAC, or similar trades such as electrical, industrial, or automotive encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems in a prompt and professional manner.
Sell products and services, offer add-on and up-sell products that may benefit the customer, and suggest alternative products when a customer-requested product is not available.
Continuously develop knowledge of product inventory and its location in the facility.
Keep up to date on market trends, new products and the application of those products.
Restock and face displays and shelving as inventory diminishes.
Back up and support Inside Sales representatives and Warehouse personnel as necessary.
Report back to Outside Sales and Management regarding any customer issues that should arise.
Perform other duties as needed.
