Requirements

• Previous customer service experience required

Nice To Haves

• Parts, automotive, diesel, or heavy-duty truck knowledge is strongly preferred
• Previous counter sales or parts counter experience is a plus
• Heavy-duty truck parts, 18-wheeler parts, diesel parts, automotive parts, parts departments, counter sales, inside sales, automotive retail, fleet maintenance, or truck repair environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the sales counter and over the phone
• Help customers identify and locate the correct heavy-duty truck parts
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the purchasing process
• Look up parts using computer systems, catalogs, and part numbers
• Process customer orders and sales transactions accurately
• Answer questions regarding products, pricing, and availability
• Communicate with warehouse staff regarding inventory and order fulfillment
• Build positive relationships with customers and repeat accounts
• Maintain a clean and organized counter/work area
