Requirements

1-3 years of customer service experience is a must
Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive manner
Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Able to lift parts upwards of 50 -75 lbs., use ladders at varying heights, and frequently walk in a large warehouse
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a similar environment combined with basic parts or heavy-duty part knowledge is considered a definite asset

Responsibilities

Provide product knowledge expertise in selling aftermarket heavy-duty parts to customers and build long-lasting customer relationships
Optimize each transaction by advising on products, product applications, returns, warranty claims, and special orders to meet all customer needs
Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product catalogues, and features
Assist with cash and/or national accounts
Follow company procedures for sales pricing, processing approved credits, invoicing, and freight billing for customers and/or product defects
Complete online training as needed and champion brand lines or products
May be assigned special projects
May deliver parts to customers with a company vehicle
May operate a forklift within the branch
Other duties as assigned
