About The Position

Scott Electric Company, a large independent electrical distributor with locations across multiple states, is seeking career-oriented individuals to serve a diverse customer base. This specific role is for a Full-Time Counter Sales Manager at their Crafton, PA branch, working Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Counter Sales Manager will oversee daily sales counter operations, ensure excellent customer service, maximize sales, and manage counter staff. This position is the main contact for contractors, electricians, maintenance professionals, and walk-in customers, while also managing inventory and operational efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical wholesale distribution or a related industry
Strong knowledge of electrical products, materials, and industry applications

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the sales counter and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Supervise, train, coach, and schedule counter sales associates
Prepare accurate quotes, process sales orders, returns, and special orders
Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment and product availability
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Work closely with outside sales representatives to support customer accounts and sales growth
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve customer retention
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe counter and showroom environment
