About The Position

The counter sales position will increase sales and customer satisfaction by efficiently and courteously assisting customers in the selection and purchase of needed products.

Requirements

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
Stand/work for duration of work hours
Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 50 lbs); occasionally lift in excess of 100Ibs
Valid driver’s license
High school diploma/GED required

Nice To Haves

Minimum 2 years in similar position preferred

Responsibilities

Accurately enter customer order into ERP system
Provide each customer with the Leeps Customer Service Experience
Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, or add-on sales strategies, increasing line items per ticket
Use electronic and published catalogs to provide product, pricing and availability information to customer
Handle customer service issues and returns in a professional manner
Stay current on job queues
Follow company guidelines for sales, operations, pricing, and credit
Light warehouse duties including deliveries, as needed
Stay current on product lines and exhibit technical expertise
Demonstrate understanding and application of effective sales strategies and techniques
Meet sales goals
Exhibit professionalism with phone and electronic communications
Conduct basic inventory counts, warehousing, and stocking procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by manager
