About The Position

Looking for a Cool Job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team representing the industry leader in HVAC equipment? The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for our sales counter at one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships. The ultimate goal of this role is to provide strong customer service in a sales-oriented setting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
  • Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, outside sales representatives, vendors, and contractors.
  • Enter customer orders and assist customers in selecting products by asking targeted questions and actively listening to understand their needs.
  • Recommend alternative or substitute products based on availability and customer requirements.
  • Research and source products using multiple tools to meet customer specifications.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding product information, pricing, quotes, and pickup or delivery timelines.
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, or potential issues.
  • Assist in resolving customer service and relationship concerns with both dealers and end users.
  • Complete the full sales order process while identifying opportunities to upsell related or complementary items.
  • Manage showroom merchandising, including product organization and restocking to ensure an appealing and well-maintained sales floor.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures related to job duties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.
