About The Position
Nicklas Supply, an employee-owned leader in plumbing, kitchen, and bath products, is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team. This role combines customer service, sales, and order processing in a fast-paced branch environment.
Requirements
- Sales or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and basic math skills
- Detail-oriented with a positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person and by phone with product selection, pricing, and availability
- Process orders accurately, including payments and order entry
- Promote products, upsell, and support sales growth
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
- Maintain product knowledge of plumbing supplies and industry trends
- Assist with inventory accuracy and stock organization
- Resolve customer issues, returns, and warranty claims professionally
- Operate material handling equipment safely (forklifts, jacks)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
