Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of retail or customer service experience
Demonstrated ability to process payments accurately and handle cash responsibly
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and professionally, providing prompt assistance with inquiries and purchases
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions, including credit cards and other payment methods
Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to help customers make informed purchasing decisions and identify their needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales counter area at all times
Handle customer concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, working toward effective resolutions
Process cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures
Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability
Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive shopping environment
Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations
Identify sales opportunities and utilize effective techniques to meet sales goals and drive revenue
Assist with warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, when needed
Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality to support team success
