About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Rossville, GA. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our valued customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area. Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to help customers make informed decisions. Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision. Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner. Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive shopping environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations. Assist in warehouse operations for shipping and receiving when needed. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. And other duties Assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of retail or customer service experience
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing
Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
In-depth product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about our product line
Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Basic computer skills and attention to detail
Team player with a collaborative mindset
Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively
Inventory management skills
Regular attendance and punctuality are vital for success in this role

Nice To Haves

HVAC knowledge preferred
Willingness to become forklift certified (training provided)
