About The Position

Eckart LLC is seeking a career-oriented Counter Sales Associate to join its Customer Service team, serving customers on both the plumbing and electrical sides. The position works in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rewarding environment and is responsible for counter sales and product returns while providing product expertise and customer service. The role involves assisting customers at the counter and over the phone, processing inquiries and orders, sourcing unavailable materials, maintaining product knowledge, and keeping the counter and sales area clean and merchandised.

Requirements

• Time-management and multitasking skills to serve several customers at the same time.

• Final candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary courses in plumbing, electrical, or heating.
• Knowledge of the plumbing, electrical, and heating industry or a background in plumbing products.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the counter and over the phone.
• Respond to inquiries and process incoming calls and orders.
• Process orders in the system.
• Source materials for customers when items are not currently in stock.
• Maintain consistent training and understanding of current products.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Handle returns as required.
• Keep the counter and sales area clean.
• Merchandise and showcase products.
• Perform other duties as required.
