About The Position

Heritage Landscape Supply is seeking a full-time Counter Driver Associate who supports counter sales and provides backup driving in a large truck with a pigtail. The position is a key customer touchpoint, handling accurate order entry and customer interactions while multitasking across order processing, inventory accuracy, and delivery coordination. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with overtime during peak seasons. The role is based at National Structure - Centennial in Centennial, Colorado. The base salary typically ranges from $19.00 to $20.91 per hour, with pay advertised up to $26 per hour; starting wage may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Prior customer service or sales experience is preferred, including experience focused on customer satisfaction, retention, loyalty, and personalized purchasing experiences.
Basic computer and internet navigation proficiency.
Experience or familiarity with point-of-sale systems and order entry procedures.
Ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds and repetitively lift 50 pounds.
Experience operating large vehicles, including a truck with a pigtail.
Ability to work in warehouses and outdoor environments.
Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed during peak season.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, driving screening, and background screening.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, professional customer service by phone, email, and in person.
Process customer transactions at the sales counter using the company computer system.
Create sales orders and quotes, using customer measurements to estimate material needs and project costs.
Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries.
Support inventory management through cycle counts, order picking, staging, replenishment, and shipping and receiving.
Cover backup driver responsibilities using a non-regulated truck.
