About The Position

The Counter Attendant for The Diner provides an exceptional guest experience by greeting guests upon arrival, taking orders, and fulfilling orders in an accurate and professional manner. Maintains current and accurate knowledge of menu (e.g., preparation techniques and ingredients). Suggests items to guests based on their expressed preferences. Accurately enters food and beverage orders into the point of sale (POS) system and delivers prepared food to the appropriate guest upon production of the order.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience in cash handling or retail required
• Must be able to operate cash register, computer and phone
