About The Position

This role is responsible for collecting slot bill validator (BV) drops efficiently and in compliance with company and state regulations. The team member will count and record Table Game drops, transfer paperwork to Accounting, and count and record funds and tickets from BV drops, inputting this information into the daily Soft Count Report. They will also transfer funds from Table Game drops and Slot BV drops to the casino cage. The position requires maintaining a neat, organized, and professional soft count area, displaying a courteous and professional image to associated departments and guests, and upholding the company's Mission Statement and Hard Rock Values. The team member will represent Hard Rock Biloxi positively and maintain knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.

Requirements

Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Must possess basic computer skills. Must have knowledge of internet software; spreadsheet software and Word Processing Software.
Must know and comply with requirements of State and Company internal controls and regulations.
Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people.
Interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with operating departments.
Must be very detailed oriented.
Must project a professional and positive image.
Must have a high level of energy
Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.

Responsibilities

Collects slot bill validator (BV) drop in an efficient, timely manner IAW company and state regulations.
Counts and records Table Game drop on Master Gaming Report. Transfers paperwork to Accounting.
Counts and records funds and tickets from BV Drop and inputs/records on daily Soft Count Report.
Transfers TG drop funds and Slot BV drop funds to casino cage in an efficient and timely manner.
Maintains soft count area in a neat, organized and professional manner.
Displays courteous and professional image to associated departments and guests.
Upholds the Mission Statement.
Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.

Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
