About The Position

Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Maine State Dual Gaming/Sportsbook License.
- Ability to work quickly, safely, and accurately in small teams while performing manual work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to distinguish monetary denominations for counting and verification.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with office machines such as calculators, computer equipment, and currency counter machines.
- Cash handling experience.
Responsibilities
- Collects all funds from slot machines during the drop.
- Verifies and reconciles unverified currency and paperwork from Tables and Slots in a safe, compliant, and timely fashion.
- Opens and empties slot machine bill validators and collects and transports the validator boxes to the Count Room while under Security escort.
- Accurately counts and verifies funds and paperwork in the Count Room.
- Completes any necessary forms and paperwork.
- Communicates with team members, managers, and attending departments regarding any issues.
- Listens to and follows procedures and directions, including job safety rules and regulations, State of Maine Gaming Regulations, Oxford Casino Internal Controls, and security procedures.
- Works as part of a team.
- Works early morning shifts (4 or 4:30 am).
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
