About The Position
The Count Team Clerk will be part of the team responsible for the accurate collection, counting, and recording of all cash from the casino floor at our Northern Nevada properties.
Requirements
- Previous cash handling experience is required.
- Employees must possess excellent math skills and accuracy.
- Must be professional and friendly and be able to get along with coworkers and work as a team.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Nevada Gaming Registration
- Valid Nevada Driver’s License and current insurance
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Casino Cage or high-volume cash handling experience preferred.
- Must be able to travel to different Truckee Gaming Locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the coin and currency drop.
- Count currency.
- Wrap loose coin.
- Stack tolled and bagged coin in locked cabinets.
- Secure coin room and account for keys.
- Participate in table and slot counts.
- Monitor and maintain all equipment that is used in the operation of coin room function.
- Ability to perform limited repairs of count room equipment.
- Observe safety policies and procedures including but not limited to safe lifting, use of ear plugs, and use of properly working machinery.
