Requirements

One (1) year experience in Count Room or high volume money handling environment.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.

Nice To Haves

Previous Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication.
Acts as a role model and coaches while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations.
Sets and monitors the pace of the team while performing table game and slot drops.
Participates in the hiring process.
Works closely with Manager on disciplinary matters.
Responsible for supervision and training of staff on designated shift.
Responsible to report any issues to Manager regarding counting, recording of currency, overall operation, maintenance of the count room and currency counting equipment.
Responsible for compliance with State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls and Company Policies & Procedures during shift.
