About The Position

This position is responsible for collecting money collection cans from various gaming areas, transporting them to the count room, and accurately counting the funds. The role requires strict adherence to all procedures for collection, counting, and asset security, as well as maintaining control of all casino assets. Accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork and documentation is essential. The job also involves the appropriate use of office equipment and machinery used for handling funds. The team member must be able to work any assigned shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, and must understand and adhere to all relevant gaming regulations.

Requirements

• Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, 10-key calculator, and copy machine.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of equipment and machinery used for transporting and counting funds.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
• Required to stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
• Required to bend or stoop and to lift up to 100 pounds, including lifting overhead.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Collect money collection cans from all assigned slot machines, bill validators, change machines, and/or table games boxes, and replace with empty cans.
• Maintain control of all casino assets at all times.
• Follow all procedures for collection, counting, and asset security at all times.
• Transport assets to the count room.
• Count all money collected from the gaming floor.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation timely, accurately, and legibly.
