About The Position

This position is an overnight/sunrise position with a start time of 3:00 am on scheduled days. The role involves collecting Bill Validator boxes from slot machines, performing drop functions such as drop set up, bill validator replacement, and transporting boxes to the soft count room. The team member will also sort, count, and record contents of drop boxes, balance funds, create daily reports, operate currency counter equipment, and perform inventory counts. Additionally, the role includes dropping and replenishing NRT terminals, assisting with special projects, and alerting team members to technical issues. The position requires enforcing Project 21 policies and ensuring a positive representation of the company.

Requirements

Must possess or be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License.
Must be flexible to work any shift, most specifically grave shift.
Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, grip and kneel repetitively.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to carry Bill Validator boxes filled with currency or push/pull carts filled with Bill Validator boxes with assistance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be detail oriented.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must be able to work under constant surveillance.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements.
Ability to appreciate and be friendly with all Harrah’s Gulf Coast team members.
Able to accept direction of Senior Leadership.
Able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job.
Available to work any shift, holidays and weekends.
Ability to tolerate cigarette/cigar smoke and e-cigarette vapor.
Responds to visual and aural cues.
Must have manual dexterity to operate computer, telephone, photocopy machine, ten key, printer and manual tug.

Responsibilities

Collect Bill Validator boxes from slot machines on casino floor.
Perform drop functions including drop set up, bill validator replacement, and retrieving from slot machines.
Transport Bill Validator carts to the soft count room.
Utilize all drop equipment properly, with care around gaming areas.
Assist other departments with special projects related to the drop process.
Sort, count, and record contents of table game drop boxes and currency drop boxes.
Balance funds and create daily reports.
Operate Currency Counter equipment and conduct minor repairs and maintenance.
Perform weekly and monthly inventory counts.
Drop and replenish NRT terminals; build NRT cassettes for future drops.
Present oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourage others.
Alert appropriate team members to technical problems with games/systems.
Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
Enforce Project 21 policy and procedures by monitoring for underage gamblers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
