About The Position

The Counselor provides clinical services to clients in a therapeutic setting, including individual assessments and ongoing treatment sessions. The role plans, organizes, and facilitates all aspects of clients’ continuum of care, facilitates caseload groups as needed, and completes clinical documentation in the EMR. The Counselor builds positive relationships with clients and clinical and medical staff. The employer is a nationally recognized substance abuse treatment company focused on providing individualized substance abuse treatment at all levels of care.

Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background screen.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field.
• Currently hold a CADC, LADC, or LCADC credential, or an MFT-intern, CPC-intern, or LCSW-intern license.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries.
• Have a passion for working with individuals struggling with substance use and/or co-occurring mental health issues.

Responsibilities
