About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Counselor to join our Women’s Trauma Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This daytime program supports adult women navigating trauma-related mental health challenges, providing a structured and supportive environment for healing and growth. In this role, you will facilitate both group and individual therapy, complete clinical assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician passionate about women’s mental health and experienced in group facilitation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (required)
  • Completion of a clinical internship or practicum (required)
  • Strong group facilitation skills and ability to engage clients in a structured setting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with trauma-informed care and women’s mental health (preferred)
  • Trauma-specific training or certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions in a trauma-focused IOP setting using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, CPT)
  • Provide individual counseling sessions as clinically indicated
  • Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care (approximately 4–6 per week)
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in daily team meetings to review client progress and coordinate care
  • Complete insurance authorizations and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive therapeutic environment
