About The Position

On Demand Counseling provides comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment, supporting clients in Northeast Ohio through a wide range of services, from individual counseling to group programs. We are dedicated to removing barriers to treatment and offering compassionate, effective care to individuals and families in need. This part-time position offers premium pay approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to transition to full-time employment if desired and based on organizational needs.

Requirements

• LCDC II, LCDC III
• LPC, LSW, LPCC, or LISW.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services consistent with the counselor’s education, license, and scope of practice.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs and recovery goals.
• Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Provide crisis intervention and use appropriate de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources, healthcare providers, and higher levels of care.
• Collaborate with courts, schools, treatment providers, and other stakeholders when authorized and appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and other required clinical documentation.
• Participate in treatment-team meetings, case consultation, and care-coordination activities.
• Protect client confidentiality and comply with organizational, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
