About The Position

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a Part-time Counselor to join our MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) program at our Stateville, NC location. At McLeod Centers for Wellbeing, our mission is to build a foundation of healing and hope based on equity, education, and evidence-based practice for all communities. A nonprofit founded in 1969 in Charlotte, North Carolina, we have since grown to be one of the largest providers of comprehensive substance use disorder treatment in western North Carolina. From initial assessment to customized aftercare, McLeod Centers provides compassionate, steadfast support for our patients’ journey to recovery. We are looking for passionate people to join our team!

Requirements

  • Minimum CADC certification
  • Up to master's degree-level, fully licensed or associate licensed Family Counselors (LCAS, LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC)

Responsibilities

  • Be at the forefront of crafting person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.
  • Play a pivotal role in monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.
  • Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support both patients and their families.
  • Connect patients with vital support services, such as medical evaluation, mental health, and social support.
  • Participate in clinical supervision sessions to foster your professional growth and development.
