Requirements
- Availability to work a Full Time schedule (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.
- All new hires are required to attend a one-week ReDiscover orientation as part of the onboarding process.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid Missouri Class E automobile operator’s license (or equivalent license in another state).
- Must carry all appropriate insurance on the vehicle being driven, necessary to comply with Missouri or Kansas State Law.
- Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitors clients in a safe environment, performing and documenting client safety rounds.
- Performs ADL monitoring and coaching (i.e. life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.).
- Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan.
- Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of the program space.
- Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality.
- Provides written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Requests and/or releases client information or medical records.
