About The Position

We’re seeking a Counselor Social Worker - LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW-C. to join our team and provide autonomous, patient-centered mental health services that support healing, resilience, and whole-person care. You’ll play a vital role in helping patients and families navigate the emotional and psychological challenges of illness. You’ll conduct psycho-social and mental health assessments, diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans, provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families, facilitate referrals and resources to promote optimal functioning, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling from an accredited institution
• LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW-C.
• LGPC licensure by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors (required)

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Deep understanding of counseling principles, practices, and professional standards
• Familiarity with community organizations and social service programs
• Exceptional communication skills across diverse populations
• Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and sound clinical judgment
