About The Position

This position provides for the direct care and management of the patient population within a partial care treatment center, focusing on children and adolescents. The role involves maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, facilitating group sessions, providing observational feedback, documenting patient progress, and assisting with patient transportation.

Requirements

• Must have a bachelor's degree in psychology or related field.
• Experience with children in behavioral & mental health.
• BA in Psychology, Social Work or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients.
• Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient’s treatment plan.
• Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
• Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
• Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
• Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.
• All other duties as assigned.
