Counselor – Inpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment

As a Counselor, you will play a key role in supporting clients throughout their recovery. This position provides clinical services, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to a safe, therapeutic, and supportive treatment environment.
Requirements
- LPC, LCSW, Licensed-Eligible Resident, or CSAC required
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond effectively to crisis situations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Develop and review individualized treatment plans with the multidisciplinary treatment team
- Facilitate individual therapy, family sessions, and therapeutic groups
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR
- Provide documentation and support for utilization reviews as needed
- Coordinate care with referral sources and outpatient providers
- Assist with aftercare planning and tracking client outcomes
- Contribute to curriculum development and staff training
- Help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention when needed
