This specific role is within the Behavioral Healthcare Division, seeking full-time Counselor III's, Behavioral Health Consultants, and Evaluator/Urgent Care Specialists.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Services field or related field.
- Two (2) years’ experience in substance abuse or related field.
Nice To Haves
- Psychology background.
- One year counseling experience.
- LPC OR LCSW preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of tasks designed to effect the lasting rehabilitation of substance abusers.
- Conduct individual counseling.
- Facilitate group work.
- Support ancillary activities.
- Assist in the development of mental health services.
- Provide direct services to all patients admitted by the GPHA/AL-ASSIST Behavioral Health Care Program.
