Seeking a Recovery Support Counselor to provide recovery-oriented services to individuals receiving outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and help patients build and maintain long-term recovery and improve overall wellness. This position engages patients in treatment, provides recovery coaching, relapse prevention support, case management, and linkage to community resources including housing, employment, healthcare, and recovery support services. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Recovery Support Counselor promotes patient retention, self-sufficiency, and successful transitions throughout the continuum of care. Responsibilities include facilitating individual and group services, coordinating care, documenting services, and advocating for patients to reduce barriers to recovery. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting individuals in recovery, demonstrates strong engagement and motivational interviewing skills, and is committed to providing culturally responsive, person-centered care.
