About The Position

Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services field or combination of education/experience that qualifies as a QMHA required.
  • CADC is also required.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English language, and understand documents, instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, finance reports, and legal documents.
  • Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to define and solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to understand personal boundaries and how this impacts treatment.

Nice To Haves

  • History of working cooperatively in a team setting with at least two years relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents and families as assigned by a designated QMHP or Clinical Supervisor.
  • May be assigned to any agency program including, but not limited to: ACT, Crisis, Intensive Services, Outpatient, Jail Diversion, Wrap, Residential or Detox.
