The Counselor/Coordinator of Clinical Programming provides direct counseling, crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, and referral services to university students while developing and coordinating clinical programs that address identified student mental health needs. The position uses data, research, and emerging trends to guide group counseling, psychoeducational programming, screenings, early-intervention initiatives, and other evidence-based services. The coordinator evaluates program effectiveness and collaborates with Counseling Services and campus partners to enhance student well-being and access to appropriate mental health support. The Counselor/Coordinator of Clinical Programming is a full-time professional position within Counseling Services responsible for providing direct clinical services to university students and coordinating clinical programming designed to address the mental health and psychosocial needs of the student population. The position combines counseling, crisis intervention, consultation, outreach, and program development with responsibility for identifying, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based clinical programs and interventions. The Counselor/Coordinator works collaboratively with Counseling Services staff and campus partners to promote student well-being, improve access to mental health resources, and respond to emerging student needs. The position requires strong generalist clinical skills, the ability to respond effectively to varying levels of psychological distress, and demonstrated skills in program development, group work, assessment, and coordination.
